Ario Bimo Nandito Ariotedjo, S.H. or better known as Dito Ariotedjo (born 25 September 1990) is an Indonesian politician who served as Minister of Youth and Sports from the Golongan Karya Party. Aged 32 years and 190 days when inaugurated, he became the youngest Minister of Youth and Sports since Soepeno and the youngest minister since the end of the Old Order. He is also the first person born in the 1990s to become a minister.

A senior leader in higher education with 30+ years global experience in education, sport and innovation; A very strong background in leading strategic design in multinational educational environments; An extraordinary ability to educate people to solve complex problems through human-centred innovation.

My teaching, research and civic engagement focuses on three core overlapping areas: (i) sport pedagogy, (ii) education and (iii) innovation and design thinking. I believe that my scholarship must have a positive impact on the lives of citizens.

I am a Senior Lecturer in Physical Education and Sport Pedagogy at University College Cork, and the only Hasso Plattner Institute licenced Design Thinking Coach in my field. I am the founder of the HEA Human Capital Initiative Pillar 1 funded PGDip for Innovation through Design Thinking, which is run jointly by the School of Education and the Cork University Business School.

For some time now, I have worked in the area of strategic design within my university and also in other universities, facilitating the design of their strategy with the C-suite. To this end, I founded StrategicDesign@UCC, which is a member of the Global Design Thinking Alliance (https://gdta.org/). I have extensive experience in applying design thinking (human-centred innovation) across the trisector more broadly, but also more specifically in the area of sport, physical activity and physical education. In April 2020, during the pandemic, I founded the annual Global Design Challenge for Sport and Physical Activity (GDC) innovation competition under UNESCO patronage which uses design thinking to crowdsource ideas for incubation and impact (see https://gdc2022.devpost.com/). The GDC 2023 will launch in April 2023.
