Prof. Dr. Yusuf Hidayat, M.Si. is a senior lecturer at the Physical Education, Health and Recreation Study Program (PJKR) Faculty of Sports and Health Education (FPOK) Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia (UPI). Teaching sports psychology courses, learning badminton and table tennis, research methods in physical education, sports and health, applied research methodology, scientific writing and psychometrics. He has taught at FKIP UNISMA 45 Bekasi, STKIP Pasundan Cimahi, and currently teaches at the Master of Sports Science, School of Pharmacy, Bandung Institute of Technology, in the Sports Psychology course. Apart from being a lecturer, he has had additional duties as Head of the Technical Implementation Unit (UPT) of the UPI Sports Center, Head of the Physical Education, Health and Recreation Study Program, member of the UPI Internal Quality Audit Unit, Member of the UPI Postgraduate School Commission as Dissertation Review Coordinator in the Study Program Sports Education (S3). In Tridharma Higher Education activities, he actively carries out internal and national research, writes several reference books and teaching materials, modules and scientific articles which are published in the indexed journals Sinta, Scopus and Web of Science. Until now, registered and active as a reviewer and International Editorial Board in various national and international journals indexed by Sinta and Scopus. In national and international scientific forums, he has been a participant, parallel speaker, and invited speaker, as well as carrying out collaborative visits, visiting researchers, and guest lectures to Malaysia, Thailand, China, South Korea, Japan, and others. Actively involved in various training of trainers, education and training activities, trainer upgrading and workshops, both as a participant and keynote person at the city/district, provincial and national levels, and also as a consultant in the field of sports and exercise psychology. In sports activities, he has been actively involved in the world of national and international refereeing / umpiring for almost 14 years, serving in various national and international competitions, both single events and multi-events (PON, Indonesia, Korea, Malaysia and Thailand Open, Sea Games, Asian Games, Asian Championships, India and China World Championships, and the Athens Olympics). He has been recorded as a Mental Coach, accompanying PERSIKAB Bandung Regency football athletes in Division 1, West Java PELATDA athletes who competed in PON in South Sumatra, East Kalimantan, Riau, West Java and Papua, including in XXI PON which will be held in North Sumatra and Aceh in 2024. In the field of sports organizations, he was Chairman of the Research and Development Division of the Indonesian Table Tennis Association (PTMSI) and the Indonesian Handball Association (ABTI) of West Java Province, Deputy Chairman of the Competition and Referee Division and Chairman of the Division Planning and Development of the All Indonesian Badminton Association (PBSI) of West Java Province, as well as Deputy Chair of Training for the Alumni Association of the Faculty of Sports and Health Education (FPOK) UPI. Currently, he is being entrusted as a member of the Psychology Support Staff at SLOMPN UPI, Head of the Innovation and IPR Development Division at UPI, Daily Chair of ABTI West Java Province, Chair of the Psychology Division of KONI West Java Province, Chair of the Psychology Division of BAPOMI West Java, Deputy Chair of the Association of Sports Mental coaching Indonesia (APMOI), and General Chair of the Communication Forum Managing the Indonesian Physical Education Study Program (Association of Indonesian Physical Education Study Programs). Apart from that, he is also affiliated as an active member in international professional organizations such as the Association for Applied Sport Psychology (AASP), Society of Health and Physical Educators (SHAPE), International Association for Physical Education in Higher Education (AIESEP), International Council of Sport Science and Physical Education (ICSSPE), and the International Society of Sport Psychology (ISSP).
